Hundreds of years ago, a hole tore through the veil between Fairy and Earth. Right here on Wild Haven Island. Fae poured in and wreaked havoc. The Sentinels came and protected our world, sacrificing their path home to save us. The lore has been passed down from one generation to the next, but I don’t know that any of us really believed it. Not until two of our friends bonded and started forming an Axis. The same magical circle that tore our parents’ lives apart.
My magic is growing and so is the temptation that is Archer Warren. I’ve loved him for as long as I can remember, but he has no idea. The threat of the Axis looms over our heads. We should stay away from each other, but he’s the sun and I’m drawn to his warmth. When we inevitably collide, it’s messy. He’s my brother’s best friend. Being close to him brings us one step closer to adding another bonded pair to the Axis. We’re playing right into the exiled Fae’s hands. Despite it all, staying apart feels wrong.
