I thought I was free of that evil for good.
Turns out, my husband, the man who said he would protect me, is easily swayed.
He took the word of a monster over mine, leaving me vulnerable once again.
Out from the shadows the beast that I’d been running from arose, trapping me in his claws.
Betrayed and alone.
I no longer have my loving, broken, tattooed man.
Or my sweet, sensitive protector on my side.
Now, it’s up to me to survive long enough to save myself.
Every day with him is torture, but I need to wait for the perfect time to run as far away from Craibridge as I can. I might shatter in the process, but if no one else will save me I have to save myself.
